The Empress
Rhiannon
Sovereign generosity — abundance that comes from a source that chooses to give, not one that can be taken from.

Upright
Something under your care is growing and needs feeding rather than steering. Attend to the body, the senses, the actual soil of the thing. Give without accounting for it and it will return multiplied.
Reversed
Not used in Raynebow readings - reversals are off in the product. Shown here for reference.
Smothering rather than nurturing, or giving so continuously that the source runs dry. Creative work stalled, or self-worth outsourced to what you produce for others.
Keywords
abundance · fertility · sovereignty · nurture · the sensual world
The Welsh story
Rhiannon first appears riding a white horse at an unhurried pace that no rider can overtake — she can only be reached by being asked. She chose Pwyll herself, was falsely accused of killing her own infant son, and bore a punishment of carrying visitors on her back at the gate for years without complaint. Her birds sing the dead to sleep and wake the living from it.
On the card
Fruiting, and in no hurry.
