Upright

Something is beginning that you are not qualified for, and that is precisely the right condition to begin it in. Move before you feel ready; the readiness is manufactured by the moving. Trust the pull you cannot yet justify to anyone else.

Reversed

Not used in Raynebow readings - reversals are off in the product. Shown here for reference.

Recklessness dressed as spontaneity, or the opposite — hesitating so long at the threshold that the opening closes. Naivety that has stopped being charming and started being costly.

The Welsh story

Peredur is the Welsh Percival: a boy raised deliberately in the forest by a mother who had lost her husband and sons to warfare and meant to keep him ignorant of knighthood. He sees armoured riders, mistakes them for angels, and leaves on a nag with improvised tack to become one of them. His ignorance is not stupidity — it is the unspoiled attention that lets him see what trained men no longer can.
