The Moon
Lake of Maidens
The waterline between what can be known and what can only be dreamed, and the cost of crossing it carelessly.

Upright
You are not seeing this clearly and should not act as though you are. Fear, projection and old memory are colouring the picture. Follow the dream material; it knows something the daylight mind does not.
Reversed
Not used in Raynebow readings - reversals are off in the product. Shown here for reference.
Confusion clearing, or the opposite — self-deception now actively maintained. Anxiety being treated as information when it is only weather.

The Welsh story
A farmer at Llyn y Fan Fach saw a woman rise from the water and courted her; she agreed to marry him on the condition that three causeless blows would end it. Years and three light touches later she walked back into the lake, taking her cattle with her, and never returned to him — though she came back for her sons and taught them the medicine that made the Physicians of Myddfai famous for centuries.
On the card
The tame one and the wild one, same moon.
